I THINK: the world is a strange place inhabited by people who have no sense of community or shared responsibility for each other and the planet we live on. I think the people who pretend to have all the answers about life are the most confused. I think the people who admit to knowing very little about why we are here are the most honest. I think if everyone surfed more we would all be happier. I think people who think property is theft have never owned a new bicycle. I think there is plenty of food and shelter for everyone if some people didn't hoard it all. I think if people read more often they wouldn't do such stupid things. I think we will continue to make the mistakes our parents made until there is an evolution in our way of thinking about what is reality and what is complete b.s. we sell ourselves so we won't have to confront the truth. I think there's a chance that there are other forms of life out there, and white bearded omnipotent supreme beings, but there's a better chance that earth is the very first planet where all the factors for life were present and then it just exploded into thousands of different species because it would be impossible for it to evolve in one straight line with just one species so it had to have infinite varieties of plants and animals, and one of those varieties developed a few character traits that made the species dominant over all but whose delusions of grandeur, excessive fear and pride threaten to extinguish the entire planet. Stay tuned. Or tune it out. I think any one who doesn't believe in evolution shouldn't be allowed to drive cars or fly in planes, or use elevators or bridges because they apparently don't believe in science. I think if there is a God he's very disappointed in the religions we came up with. I think some corporations are good and some are bad, but most need to be a little less concerned with the bottom line. I think "Imagine" by John Lennon is the best song ever written. I think things might get worse before they get better. I think good friends are priceless, but bad friends are a waste of time. I think agnostics suffer more watching the fate of the planet at the hands of extremists and fundamentalists because they realize all this bloodshed could be happening over figments of people's imagination. I think no matter what what you believe, we all want the same things in life, health happiness and security; and if we could realize that, we might begin to cooperate more, instead of competing so much for the planet's abundant resources. I think politics keep a lot of evil people busy. I think power corrupts people. I think we should all treat strangers like guests because you never know when you will be a stranger yourself. I think we could all get along better if we could just trust each other a little more. Cogit Ergo Sum.
